Not electrical or engineering advice
Articles about home charging, circuit sizing, load management and charger installation are explanatory. Electrical work is regulated: use a licensed electrician, obtain the required permits, and follow your local wiring code and the manufacturer’s instructions. Where we quote figures we cite the source and the date. Many numbers in this field are estimates that depend on methodology – lifecycle emissions, grid carbon intensity, real-world range and total cost of ownership all vary with assumptions. Where credible sources disagree we say so rather than picking the most convenient number. Cost examples and calculations are illustrative and will not match your exact situation.
